Abstract：
A CAPP system based on concurrent engineering is presented in this paper, which realizes the concurrent design of process plan on the basis of product data and information management system. Meanwhile a method of synthetic appraisal for process plan is provided in the CAPP system to get an optimum plan. © 2001 Trans Tech Publications.
