Abstract:
Axial stiffness and flexural stiffness of concrete - filled steel tubes after exposure to fire are very important parameters for the seismic analysis of this kind of structure after fire. A kind of numerical method is used to calculate the load versus deformation curves of axially - loaded and pure flexural members of concrete filled steel tube after exposure to ISO - 834 standard fire. Influence of fire duration time, material strength, steel ratio and sectional dimensions on the stiffness is analyzed. Simplified formula for calculating the axial and flexural stiffness of concrete filled steel tube after fire is given based on the parametric analysis, which may be a reference for concrete filled steel tubular structures used in practical engineering.
