Abstract:

In this paper, a nonlinear soil - structure interaction model of jointless bridges is presented according to its structural characteristics. The finite element model of a jointless bridge under different earthquake intensities is built based on this. The dynamic properties are analysed and compared with that of joint bridges. The influence of chief structural parameters are also analysed. The research results are helpful for the knowledge of mechanics property of these bridges.
