Using multi criteria decision making technology to evaluate industry competitive ability among Taiwan, South Korea and China

Abstract:

Industry competitive ability is the abstract concept for evaluating the overall performance of enterprises in special industrial. It is important to evaluate industry competitive ability of each region in order to let government understand the strong and weakness of their industries. The goal of this research is to evaluate and analyze smart phone industry competitive ability among Taiwan, South Korea and China by using multi criteria decision making method. In aspect of criteria evaluation, we use maximum deviation method, In aspect of alternative evaluation, TODIM is applied in this research. According to the analyzing result, it can be found that the smart phone industry competitive ability of Taiwan and South Korea has been gradually fall behind by China. © 2018 Association for Computing Machinery.
