Abstract:

A reasonable encoding of component parts of product is the basis of implementing informationization for hoisting machinery enterprise. Aimed at the inefficiency of the current encoding system of hoisting machinery, a new encoding method with both classification-code and identification-code based PDM is presented in this paper. And an encoding system based on Client/Server pattern was developed. The feasibility and efficiency of this encoding system is proved in the production. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2010.
