Abstract:

Mobile cartography cannot directly copy the desktop mapping visualization because of small screen, low resolution and diverse performance of mobile terminal. Therefore, this paper puts forward an adaptive mobile cartography visualization method based on information of terminal devices. This method starts from presenting the terminal position of the location service, and generates a terminal-position-oriented data query box of screen. Then map server according to the performance information of the terminal device automatically determines appropriate way of mobile terminal visualization, and visualizes the received map data. © 2013 IEEE.
