The history of building brand image is a history of development of communication technology. With the rapid development of multimedia technology, the revolutionary reforms of building brand image is taking place. New media tools fully arouse hearing and the sense of touch of consumers, even smell, giving brand image has given more tridimensional and lifelike consumer experience (Yang 2001). New media tools making brand image closer to consumers, even blending them together (Yang 2001, Yin 2012). Via case analysis, we conduct research on the way of building brand image through the use of multimedia technology for a number of international companies, and expect to provide new development ideas for brand image building. © 2014 Taylor & Francis Group.
