Abstract:
In this article, temperature distribution of the human eye was studied with the well-known Pennes bio-heat transfer equation. A hybrid scheme which is combined with differential transformation and finite difference method is proposed to solve the bio-heat transfer problems of human eye. The human eye is stratified into cornea, aqueous humor, lens, vitreous humor, retain, and sclera. The transient temperature of retina was analyzed with or without the effect of blood perfusion and metabolism and the influence of blood perfusion and evaporation heat loss were also discussed. It was found that the blood perfusion would increase the temperature by heat transfer and the evaporation heat loss would decrease the temperature. © 2018 IEEE.
