Abstract:
Conceptual knowledge and applied skill have always been two contradictory aspects of teaching art design. How to balance the relation between them is an often new topic in design teaching. Colleges should encourage students to explore and think deeply in conceptual subjects, which will greatly benefit students' development of creativity and comprehensive ability. Based on conceptual teaching, this thesis will try to explain how to combine traditional teaching with conceptual teaching together to provide a reference for classroom teaching and conceptual teaching of art design courses. © 2019 IEEE.
