Abstract:
This paper aims to perform an objective quantitative analysis on quadriceps rehabilitation, and investigate the muscle status in cross-over design under rehabilitation actions. Rehabilitation actions are modeled using the human body modeling software AnyBody, which can analyze the variations in the muscle activity and muscle force of the quadriceps femoris during thigh flexion. In addition, it can experimentally validate the effectiveness of the model in combination with electromyographic (EMG) signals of three quadriceps femoris muscles during different activities. According to the study results, the rehabilitation actions of the quadriceps femoris can be quantified by means of collecting EMG signals. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
