Abstract:
Neural network model of integrated thermal induced measuring coordinate errors for compensation is built, which takes thermal profile and thermal deformation of the CMM as input variables, and identifies thermal deformation with adaptive resonance neural network ART2 model. The type VIVA-860 CMM is taken for example. Experimental research on building a model of integrated thermal induced measuring coordinate errors for compensation under the environment temperature of 15-25°C is done. It is verified that the new compensation strategy can increase the measuring coordinate accuracy more than four times under thermal conditions, which takes comprehensive utilization of the representative information of the thermal profile and the thermal deformation to build the model of integrated thermal induced coordinate errors for compensation.
