Abstract:

In order to stabilize the structure of spinal LiMn2O4 and improve its electrochemistry performance, a series of Li-ion battery cathode materials LiCoxNixMn2-2xO4-x Fx (multi-doped by Co3+, Ni3+, F-) were prepared through co-precipitation technique, adulterating both Co3+ and Ni2+ ions and meantime introducing F-. The result of XRD indicated that it kept the origin spinal structure. At a current density of 100 mA/g LiCo0.05Ni0.05Mn1.9O4-x Fx exhibited a discharge capacity of 83.04 mAh/g in the voltage range of 3.2-4.4V with a slight capacity fade up to 30 circles (0.18% per circle).
