Abstract:
Strontium sulfosalicylate crystal that polycrystalline material was synthesized through liquid-phase reaction was grown by the falling temperature method, and the dimensions were about 63 mm×25 mm×3 mm. The obtained products were characterized by DSC, IR and XRD techniques. The crystallization experiments result indicated pH=0.60 water solution was the best solvent for SSS crystal growth. The solubility curves of SSS in both pH=0.60 and 1.50 water solution, and the best growth temperation was between 40-50°C of pH=0.60 curve. The best coditions for Strontium Sulfosalicylate crystal growth were put forward and the nucleation procsss of SSS in the supersaturated solution was studied.
