Abstract:
The synergistic stabilization effect of different metal lanolin fatty acids as natural-based thermal stabilizers for poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC) including calcium lanolin fatty acid (Calan2), zinc lanolin fatty acid (Znlan2) and lanthanum lanolin fatty acid (Lalan3) were studied. The results show that Lan/Zn, Ca/Zn and lead salt have the similar thermal stability, but the rheological properties of Lan/Zn is best. The tensile strength, tensile strain at break and Vicat softening temperature are 47.25 MPa, 33.17% and 83.50°C respctively when Lan/Zn is added, which is better than those of Ca/Zn and lead salt. Lan/Zn has excellent coupling effect through material sections observation.
