Abstract:
The hysteresis loops of ferromagnetic materials are dependent on temperature and they will affect the magnetic characteristics of electromagnetic equipment at different temperatures, so it's necessary to create a temperature dependent hysteresis model. A new model based on Preisach theory was developed to study the effects of temperature on magnetic hysteresis. The temperature was introduced into the existing model by adding additional parameters such as curie temperature and critical exponent. The experiments on a Fe-Si magnetic sheet core are conducted and the results show good agreement between the simulation and the experiment.
