On　the　basis　of　the　scientific　and　technological　statistical　data　of　Fujian　Province　in　2011,　the　indicator　system　of　financial　investment　and　output　for　science　and　technology　of　various　cities　was　set　up,　the　indicators　were　synthesized　by　factor　analysis　to　reduce　the　dimension,　the　regional　configuration　result　of　financial　investment　in　science　and　technology　of　Fujian　was　evaluated　by　clustering　analysis　for　the　purpose　of　providing　the　reference　and　advice　for　the　configuration　optimization　of　regional　financial　investment　in　science　and　technology　for　Fujian　Province,　and　coming　up　with　the　gist　for　formulating　the　science　and　technology　developing　planning　and　related　policy.　Since　eleven-five＇,　Fujian　Province　had　continually　increased　the　input　scale　of　financial　investment　in　science　and　technology　to　accelerate　coordinated　development　of　science　and　technology　with　economy　much　better,　but　with　the　increase　of　scientific　and　technological　funding　resources,　the　configuration　inefficiency　stands　out　much　more　seriously.　The　extensive　operation　input　mode　of　scientific　and　technological　funding　resources　emerged　over　the　years　brought　about　great　waste　during　the　configuration　of　scientific　and　technological　funding.　Higher　science　and　technology　input　always　could　not　bring　about　high-quality　science　and　technology　achievement,　and　this　seriously　influenced　the　supporting　and　promoting　affect　of　science　and　technology　on　economy.　Therefore,　the　study　on　the　regional　financial　investment　and　output　in　science　and　technology　for　Fujian　Province　takes　on　important　practical　significance　in　improving　the　availability　efficiency　of　scientific　and　technological,　optimizing　regional　input　configuration　and　promoting　science　and　technology　competitive　power　for　Fujian　Province.
