Owing　to　the　rapid　development　of　information　technology,　especially　owing　to　the　usage　of　Internet　distance　education　is　much　more　feasible　and　convenient　Recently,many　countries　not　only　developed　countries,　but　also　developing　countries,　including　China,　place　great　emphasis　on　modem　distance　education.　Any　education　style　should　serve　to　boost　economic　development.　In　this　paper　both　the　need　of　Fujian　economic　development　and　the　present　status　of　higher　education　in　Fujian　are　analyzed　The　gap　between　Fujian　higher　education　and　Fujian　economic　development　is　obvious　to　see,　and　SME　online　training　is　proposed　as　a　possible　way　to　enhance　Fujian　higher　education.
