E-government　has　been　regarded　as　a　key　strategy　for　ensuring　national　success　in　the　21st　century.　The　public-oriented　information　services,　information　sharing　and　integration　are　still　major　issues　associated　with　e-government.　In　this　paper,　we.　firstly　give　a　model　of　public-centered　e-government.,　Furthermore,　after　briefly　outlining　XML,　we　have　put　forward　an　information　integration　framework　based　on　XML　for　e-government,　and　discussed　the　functions　of　different　tiers　in　the　framework.　Finally,　we　shall　point　out　the　further　perfection　for　the　information　integration　framework.
