Abstract:
This paper presents the experimental results of eight concrete filled steel tubular (CFST) column-reinforced concrete (RC) beam joints enclosed by rebars under cyclically increasing horizontal displacement loading. The behavior of both circular and square CFST column joints under different axial load levels,such as the failure mode, hysteretic characteristic, shear force transfer mechanism, rebar and steel bracket deformation, ductility and energy dissipation were investigated.
