Abstract:
The applications of microtoroidal cavity sensors in biological, chemical and micromachine are reviewed, which can be used in liquid and gas. Both passive and active microtoroidal cavities are discussed. This type of sensors offers advantages over conventional sensors due to its faster response, higher sensitivity, unique or multi analytes.
