Abstract:
The paper proposes a design of High-Definition IP-Camera surveillance system, which has the characteristics of security, stability, cross-platform transferring and short time delaying. The design, of which Hi3518E is set as the core, implements the capturing, compression coding, storing and transferring for audio and video. In the process of network transferring, RC4 (Rivest Cipher 4) encryption algorithm is used to ensure the security, at the same time, the JSON (JavaScript Object Notation), which is independent of the platform and language, is adopted for exchanging data between platforms to assure that data exchange is not relied on the server platform. Daemon is used for detecting whether the device is normal or not, to enable the device has the ability of self-detection. The experimental results verify the design is feasible and can be implemented in many applications.
