Stabilization of Induction Motor Speed Sensorless Vector Control System Using Flux Observer

Abstract:

This paper presents a new compensation method about speed sensorless vector control of induction motor( IM). The proposed method calculates a direction of the flux by reducing the q-axis flux to zero which is obtained a flux observer. In order to stabilize the system at regenerating operation, a new compensation method is proposed. The effectiveness of proposed compensation method is confirmed by stability analysis by a linear model, simulation and experimental results.
