This　paper　deals　with　the　jump　equations　which　are　derived　from　Maxwell＇s　equations　and　three　conservation　laws　and　satisfy　both　boundaries　of　a　magneto-hydrodynamic　shock　wave.　Jump　equations　of　the　magneto-hydrodynamic　shock　wave　are　transformed　into　a　dimensionless　form,　so　that　the　resulting　formulae　for　the　general　solution　for　the　shock　wave　are　convenient　for　practical　calculations.　Finally,　the　perpendicular　magneto-hydrodynamic　shock　wave,　the　parallel　magneto-hydrodynamic　shockwave,　and　the　aerodynamic　shock　wave　are　all　discussed　in　this　paper
