Abstract:
We propose a protocol to generate four-atom entangled decoherence-free states trapped in distant cavities by using the interference of polarized photons. The protocol uses the effects of quantum statistics of indistinguishable photons emitted by the atoms inside optical cavities. In the Lamb-Dicke limit, the protocol does not require the simultaneous click of detectors. This makes the protocol more realizable in experiments.
